"STRIKE ONE!" yelled the umpire as he signaled the count 1-1.

The pitcher looked tired as he swiped his forehead full of sweat. The pitcher soon started winding up and threw the ball fast right Down the middle. WHACK! I heard as the ball went high in the air. My brother started running and touched 1st but he wasn't done. He then ran towards second then he slid to the bag. Dust filed the air and I could't see my brother. A few minutes later the dust cleared and I saw the umpire hold out his arms which ment that he was safe.

Next up was my championship game and I was ready. After my brother's game ended I was already practicing with my team. Everyone was very excited about today's big game even me. Whoever won this game would be 1st place and go to TOC (Tournament Of Champions). Both teams really wanted to win.The opposing team was really good and the coach said to try And focus on the ball. Our team found out that someone sneaked out of the dugout and went to the snack bar to get some chips. It was top of the 6th inning 2 outs and we were losing 2-3.

I was up and the count was 2-1 I was very worried I would strike out. I was facing against their 2nd best pitcher. The pitcher swiped his forehead and focused towards the plate. He winded up and threw the ball down the middle then I heard a WACK! from my bat. I looked up and saw that it was a pop up. I knew we had lost so I was very sad. We would have claim 2nd place but the 2nd baseman MISSED THE CATCH! The two runs came in! Now we took the lead 4-3 but the other team still had to bat and there were people at 2nd and 3rd base and their person at the bottom of the lineup was up and the count was 3-2. The pitcher was under a lot of pressure and the whole team was too.The pitch was thrown and he swung at a outside pitch. He struck out.

Everyone came in and cheered for our pitcher! On the mound everyone had smiles of joy. After we high fived the other team we got our trophies and we were on our way to TOC!
